Behavior Training

Behavioral training plays an important role in enhancing the relationship you share with your pet. Our Pet Behavior Specialist is here to help you with any behavioral issues that may arise with your pet, whether it is young, older, new to your home, or a longtime companion.

Full-Time Behavior Training

If your pet is exhibiting behavioral problems, our Pet Behavior Specialist will work to identify the problem behavior and its source, and establish a plan to help your pet learn and master the behaviors that are appropriate.

Our training academy offers a variety of training opportunities, including group classes, private lessons, all day training, training while boarding, play sessions, and phone and video consults.

All training is geared to help you better understand your pet’s behavior and to help your pet master the skills needed to achieve the behavior that is desired. Our training program utilizes effective and compassionate training methods and clear communication.

If you wish to correct specific problems that require one-on-one attention, private training sessions with both you and your dog provide a great option.

If you board your dog with us, we can provide training sessions at your request during your dog’s boarding stay. For overall socialization, playtime is another option that is geared toward enhancing your pet’s ability to interact appropriately with other dogs and people.

Required Vaccinations

Dogs participating in our Behavior Training must be current on required vaccinations, including, Rabies, Distemper, Bordetella, and Leptospirosis.

Behavior Training for Cats & Other Small Pets

Since behavioral issues are not exclusive to dogs, our Pet Behavior Specialist provides behavioral consults and training for cats, birds, and other small pets. With many years of experience at working with a wide variety of animals, he is well-versed in the behavioral issues that may be affecting the relationship you have with your cat, bird, or exotic pet. Vaccinations

Cats participating in behavioral consults at our facility must be current on Rabies and FVRCP.
